This Week at the Apiary

The blackberry flow has started early this year and several colonies are bringing in dark nectar. It is a busy time for the hives, and the air is heavy with the scent of meadow blossoms.
Plant to Watch
Field scabious is beginning to flower around Norfolk and is already attracting plenty of pollinators with its pale lilac blooms.
Did You Know?
A healthy colony may fly the equivalent of several journeys around the Earth in a single summer, visiting millions of flowers.
